Our Story
We are the Wood family! Neil proudly served 31 years in the Marine Corps and is now retired, bringing with him a wealth of leadership, discipline, and stories from around the world. Andrea is a dedicated special education teacher, passionate about helping students reach their full potential. Together, we’ve built a life centered on family, exploration, and creating meaningful connections.
As a family of five, we’ve embraced the adventure of traveling far and wide. Having lived overseas as well as on both the East and West Coasts, we’ve gained an appreciation for diverse cultures, landscapes, and ways of life. These experiences have inspired us to craft our own cabin retreat, combining the warmth of home with the unique charm of Big Bear.
